Faisal M. Rahman, Ph.D., is Professor and Founding Dean of The Graham School of Management at Saint Xavier University in Chicago, Illinois. He is also Principal and Co-Founder of the APAC group of healthcare companies, which owns, manages, and operates organizations focused on outpatient surgery and physician practice management.
Dr. Rahman serves as Chairman of the Governing Board of Munster Surgery Center and as Senior Strategy Advisor to Incision-Care, an Amsterdam-based healthcare company. He has provided advisory and consulting services to organizations including the City of Chicago, the World Bank, Rush University Healthcare System, and University of Chicago Medicine, as well as universities and hospitals in Bangladesh, India, China, Italy, Morocco, Jordan, France, and Canada.
A published author of books and articles in numerous professional journals, Dr. Rahman is also a featured speaker at major international conferences. His recent engagements include a keynote address on “AI and Healthcare” in Amman, Jordan, in April 2025; a presentation in Rome, Italy, in March 2026 for the PMPH 2027 Conference on “Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare—A Path to Accessibility, Affordability, and Accountability for Emerging Countries”; and a presentation at the E-Leader Prague Conference titled “Challenges to the U.S. Economy Come from Within—The Three Tapeworms.”
Dr. Rahman serves on the boards of Munster Surgery Center, APAC Partners LLC, and Rahmking Enterprises. He also serves on the Educational Advisory Board of Health Connect Partners and supports several other organizations.
His particular areas of interest and expertise include curriculum design and delivery for institutions of higher learning, as well as improving management efficiency in healthcare organizations in the United States and abroad. He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in International Management by a consortium of universities in Paris, France.
